Primexis Names 6 New Partners In line with 2020-2024 Growth Plans

Primexis, the specialized accounting and consulting firm, has unveiled its 2020-2024 Strategic Plan and announced the appointment and recruitment of six new Partners.  The move confirms and strengthens its position as a key partner for financial management and business consulting.

 

A Growth Target of 50%

Based for more than 30 years on operational consulting and specialist accounting, Primexis aims to achieve a growth of more than 50% in its turnover by 2024 (reference: 33 million euros in turnover in 2019), an increase of Partners and Directors and a significant increase in the number of employees.

The recruitment and appointment of six new Partners* meets these objectives and strengthens the firm’s range of specialised services.

  • Robert Filser, Partner for Banking Insurance Consulting

 

4 Development Priorities for 2024

Based on its historical positioning, Primexis’ strategic plan is aimed at key accounts: Multinational groups, ETIs, groups of SMEs (Private Equity). Through its development, Primexis aims to strengthen cross-selling between the firm’s areas of expertise in order to offer its clients specialised, high value-added support.

With the presentation of the strategic plan, the firm also outlined its priorities:

  • Implementing a human resources strategy to attract and retain talent within the firm
  • Strengthen the firm’s ability to intervene in all of its business lines by expanding the Management College.
  • Guarantee a high level of technical skills by pursuing a niche strategy to conquer new markets
  • Ensuring the independence of the firm

Biographies of new Primexis Partners

 

Recruited Partners

 

Alexis Gasto, Chartered Accountant, joins the International Business Services Department as a Partner.

Alexis supports the subsidiaries of international groups to set up and develop in France. He has a broad field of expertise that enables him to cover accounting, tax and reporting issues. For more than 10 years, Alexis has been working with international clients in the Services, Hospitality and Real Estate sectors for EY’s accounting and financial support department.

 

Gaétan Lemaitre joins the Payroll and Personnel Administration Department as a Partner in order to contribute to the expansion of its range of services.

In 2008, Gaétan joined Grant Thornton to launch and manage payroll outsourcing services. As National Director of the Payroll offering, he had been in charge of developing and promoting SIRH, payroll management services and social consultancy for the past 3 years.

 

Partner Appointments as of July 1, 2020

Matthieu Brongniart, appointed Partner for Consolidation Reporting Controlling Department

As an IFRS expert, Matthieu is involved in consolidation outsourcing and support assignments for clients of industrial and service groups. He also carries out consulting assignments, particularly in the context of LBO operations or the implementation of IFRS standards. After starting his career in financial audit at Caderas Martin, he joined Primexis in 1998.

 

Olivier Carlier, appointed Partner for Consolidation Reporting Controlling Department

Specialized in the preparation of consolidated financial statements under IFRS for listed groups, Olivier provides outsourcing, assistance and consulting services for a portfolio of industrial, real estate and services groups, particularly in the context of business combinations or IPOs. Previously working in the finance department of the Vossloh Cogifer group, then head of consolidation and group accounting at Grévin & Cie, he joined Primexis in 2006.

 

Eric Chenailler, Chartered Accountant, appointed Partner for International Business Services Department

Eric manages accounting outsourcing assignments, mainly for “non-core business” subsidiaries of listed French groups, both industrial and banking (holding companies, SPV portfolio, activities in run-off, etc.).  As a specialist in asset financing, he is in charge of providing expertise and advice to finance companies.

 

 

Robert Filser, appointed Partner for Banking Insurance Consulting Department

Robert has developed an expertise in operational consulting and business support (accounting and prudential regulations, management control and data management, financial reporting). After starting his career in the banking sector at Worms (1997) as a project and organisation manager, then project manager and banking product analyst at BNP Paribas Finance Group (2001), Robert Filser joined the consulting business with positions at Altran-CIS and then Mazars. Director at Primexis since 2013, he manages consulting and assistance assignments for the financial departments of the Banking and Insurance sectors.
